Home Care, Caring for you at Home
Community Support Workers visit you in your own home and carry out a wide range of duties for you. setoncare's Home Care services aren’t just for older people, although many of our service users are elderly. We are here to help the disabled, the vulnerable, those who cannot wholly look after themselves, whatever their age.
What sort of help can I get?
Everyone’s Home Care package is tailored to their individual needs. Your care package can include personal care, such as help with dressing, bathing and getting to the toilet. Carers also help with things like housework, cooking and going to the shops.
What happens if my needs change?
setoncare's Home Care is flexible, and can be for as long as you need us. We can help in the short term, say, if you are unwell or have just come out of hospital. We can even add extra visits or extend the length of them, if your health deteriorates or other circumstances change.
How much will Home Care cost me?
This will depend on your financial circumstances. If you contact us directly, you will have to cover the cost yourself. If you contact your local authority, they will carry out an assessment of your finances and tell you what the cost is. Find out more about paying for care.
How do I find out more about Home Care?
If you think you may qualify for financial assistance, contact your local authority’s Social Services department. You can, of course, arrange a private contract with us for Home Care, and pay directly for it.
A member of our staff will visit you before the service starts, to find out what you need and agree your individual care package.
